The Prema-lux Sitemaster is a tough and rugged 5ft corrosion resistant luminaire tailored to suit the demands of the site lighting industry. At the heart of the Sitemaster is a 'unique' volt-sensing High Frequency ballast. This caters for the varying voltage and volt drop encountered on long transformer-fed cable runs.
A typical 100m cable run of switch start luminaires would normally be able to handle no more than ten fittings.
Fifteen Sitemasters could be installed on that same cable run.
In addition to this cable and labour saving benefit, the High Frequency circuit is also up to 23% more energy efficient than a conventional switch start fitting.
